Mi Casa, also offers sewer video scope  inspections.  Sewer lateral inspections should be a mandatory apart of your home purchase. The property owner is responsible for the sewer line on their property. The city is only responsible for the line once it leaves the property. If there is an existing problem with the sewer line all costs are the responsibility of the home owner. To help protect you and your family from a possible sewer backup or costly repair its recommended to have the line video inspected before purchasing the home. Sewer Scopes are not apart of a normal home inspection. It is offered as an add on service.
